Temple Staff Suspended Over Missing Gold, Silver Coins
At the Yadagirigutta Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy Temple, two staff members were suspended and two supervisors were given warnings.
This happened because an audit found that gold and silver coins worth ₹10 lakh were missing.
The audit also found problems with how the temple kept track of its items and records.
The temple's executive officer, Bhavani Shankar, took action after seeing the audit report.
Two staff members, P. Ramachandrasekhar and T. Lakshmi, were suspended from the Yadagirigutta Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy Temple.
Gold and silver coins worth ₹10 lakh were found missing from the temple's publicity wing.
Charge memos were issued to supervisors K. Nataraju and K. Sitaramacharyulu for alleged lapses in verification and supervision.
The action was taken based on an audit report that revealed irregularities in stock maintenance and documentation.
The audit findings highlighted problems in the temple's record-keeping and coin sales processes.
