Delhi Expands Ayushman Arogya Mandirs to 200 in 8 Months
The Delhi government has quickly set up over 200 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs in just eight months.
These are like small hospitals in neighborhoods, offering free doctor visits, medicines, and health check-ups.
They are better than the old Mohalla Clinics because they have more services and better equipment.
The goal is to have one of these centers in every neighborhood so people don't have to travel far for basic healthcare.
The government plans to open even more by the end of the year.
Delhi has established over 200 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs in eight months, surpassing the previous Mohalla Clinics model.
These centers offer comprehensive healthcare services, including OPD consultations, diagnostics, essential drugs, and wellness activities.
The Delhi government aims to have 1,139 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs across the city, with four to five in every ward.
Ayushman Arogya Mandirs are equipped with advanced infrastructure and adhere to Indian Public Health Standards (IPHS).
The rapid expansion is intended to reduce the burden on major hospitals and provide accessible primary healthcare to all residents.
