CISF: Historic Shift With Women in Leadership Roles
Imagine a big group of security guards called CISF.
For the first time, CISF has four women in charge at a high level, which is a big deal!
This shows that women are getting more important jobs in the group.
To help even more women, they're starting an all-women team in a place called Haryana.
Also, the rules are changing to help women balance work and family, like letting couples work in the same city and giving women a choice about where they work.
There will even be a special place to help women with any problems they have.
CISF has four women officers serving as Inspector General (IG), marking a historic shift.
Women officers constitute 50% of the IG rank within the CISF.
The Ministry of Home Affairs approved the CISF's first all-women battalion in Haryana.
A new posting policy offers preferences for women, including choice postings after six years.
A special women's desk will address issues faced by women personnel.
