Vrusshabha Fails to Impress at Box Office
Vrusshabha is a new movie starring Mohanlal that came out on Christmas.
It didn't do very well on its first day, making only Rs 70 lakhs.
The next day, it made even less, Rs 32 lakhs, bringing the total to Rs 92 lakhs in two days.
Most of the money came from the Malayalam version.
The Hindi and Telugu versions didn't make much.
This is surprising because Mohanlal's other movies this year did really well.
People weren't very interested in seeing this movie, which made the opening numbers quite low.
Vrusshabha, starring Mohanlal, had a disappointing opening at the box office, earning only Rs 61 lakhs net and Rs 70 lakhs gross on its first day.
The film's second-day collection dropped significantly to Rs 32 lakhs, bringing the total domestic net collection to Rs 92 lakhs in two days.
The Malayalam version contributed Rs 46 lakhs on the first day, while the Hindi and Telugu versions earned Rs 2 lakhs and Rs 13 lakhs respectively.
The film was released in three languages: Malayalam, Hindi, and Telugu.
This performance is a stark contrast to Mohanlal's other successful films this year, which were among the highest-grossing Malayalam films.
