Madhya Pradesh To Report Progress On 28 Higher Education Actions

Madhya Pradesh has been asked to explain what it is doing to improve higher education.

The state must report on 28 action points.

These points include helping more students enter college and improving teaching quality.

They also include preparing students for technology-related jobs and increasing research.

The state says universities have many empty teaching positions.

Some vacancies are linked to cases in court.

Officials also worry that research and PhD quality needs to improve.

Madhya Pradesh plans to make Bhopal and Indore education hubs and has created 16 Centres of Excellence.
