Vizhinjam Container Freight Station to Boost Kerala Logistics Sector
Kerala is building its first Container Freight Station at Vizhinjam.
A Container Freight Station helps goods move between businesses, ports, and other countries.
The project will cost Rs 25 crore.
It is being carried out by Kerala State Industrial Enterprises.
The station will work with Vizhinjam International Seaport.

The station is expected to help products from Kerala and neighbouring states reach international markets through Vizhinjam International Seaport.
Customs clearance and other services at one location are intended to speed up port-based cargo movement.
