Cathy Lee Crosby: The First Wonder Woman on Screen

Before Gal Gadot, Cathy Lee Crosby was the first actress to play Wonder Woman in a TV movie in 1974.

This was a year before Lynda Carter's more famous series.

Crosby's version was a spy-thriller with a different outfit and lacked iconic items like the Lasso of Truth.

While the movie had a mixed reception, it paved the way for Carter's series, which later became more popular.

Crosby's performance remains a notable part of superhero history.
