12-Year-Old Boy Critically Injured in Sydney Shark Attack
A 12-year-old boy was swimming at a beach in Sydney, Australia, when a shark bit him.
The boy was badly hurt on both legs and had to be taken to the hospital very quickly.
The beach was closed right away to keep other people safe.
This is not the first time something like this has happened in Australia.
Last year, a woman died, and a man was badly hurt in a shark attack at a different beach.
Another teenager was also hurt by a shark a few months ago.
It's important for people to be careful when swimming in the ocean.
A 12-year-old boy was bitten by a shark at Hermitage Foreshore Walk, Vaucluse, Sydney.
The boy is in critical condition with injuries to both legs and was transported to the hospital.
The beach was closed, and swimmers were advised to stay out of the water.
In November 2023, a similar incident at Crowdy Bay resulted in one fatality and one critical injury.
