BJP MP Seeks Action on Karnataka Tribal Welfare Delays

BJP MP Seeks Action on Karnataka Tribal Welfare Delays

A lawmaker from Karnataka asked government officials about problems affecting tribal communities.

He discussed centres that help tribal groups sell their forest products.

Many approved centres have not started working yet.

He also said some money promised to Karnataka has not been released.

Another scheme has 12 approved centres that are still not operating.

The lawmaker asked for reports showing how the centres are helping people.

He also questioned why so many Forest Rights Act applications were rejected or left pending.

Officials promised to examine the issues, release pending funds and speed up the remaining work.
