Suspect Arrested for Mississippi Synagogue Arson

Suspect Arrested for Mississippi Synagogue Arson

A fire started at a synagogue in Jackson, Mississippi, early on Saturday morning.

The fire did a lot of damage to the building, including destroying some important religious books called Torahs.

The police think someone started the fire on purpose, and they have arrested a suspect named Stephen Spencer Pittman.

The synagogue is the biggest in Mississippi and has been a part of important history, including a bombing by a hate group in 1967.

The community is coming together to help the synagogue recover and rebuild.

No one was hurt in the fire, and the synagogue plans to continue its regular services in another church.
