Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil Delivers Bloody Survival Horror
Resident Evil is a short horror movie directed by Zach Cregger.
It is meant to be exciting, scary, and very bloody.
The movie moves quickly from one frightening event to another.
This fast pace helps keep the horror under control.
However, the film is only about 90 minutes long.
Because it is so short, some story connections and characters do not get enough development.
The ending is not as strong as the earlier parts.
The review suggests the movie might have benefited from more time or another major action scene.

The film’s brisk pace helps maintain tightly controlled escalating horror.
At around 90 minutes, the movie leaves some connective material underdeveloped.
Character development is also limited by the film’s brevity.
