Rajasthan Acting CJ Denies Supreme Court Judge’s Allegations as Baseless

Rajasthan Acting CJ Denies Supreme Court Judge’s Allegations as Baseless

Two senior judges are involved in a disagreement about the Rajasthan High Court.

Justice Sandeep Mehta reportedly sent letters to the Chief Justice of India raising concerns about how the court was being managed.

He also questioned some administrative decisions and sought action regarding Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma’s position.

Justice Sharma denied the allegations.

He called them baseless and said they came from animosity.

Sharma said he had sent his own response and supporting documents to the Chief Justice of India.

He asked people to let the proper judicial process examine the matter.

No final decision has been announced by the Supreme Court.
