Bajaj to launch affordable Chetak electric scooter variant
Bajaj Auto is going to launch a new version of their Chetak electric scooter on January 14.
This new version is expected to be more affordable and will compete with other budget-friendly electric scooters like the TVS Orbiter.
The design will keep the same neo-retro look but will be more practical for city use.
It will have a smaller size for easier handling in traffic, a new seat, updated side panels, and a redesigned rear grab handle.
The scooter will have a hub-mounted electric motor, 12-inch alloy wheels, and brakes with a disc at the front and a drum at the rear.
It will also have a telescopic front fork and dual shock absorbers at the back for a smooth ride.
