GRSE Delivers Fifth Warship to Navy
GRSE, a shipbuilding company, gave the Indian Navy a new warship called Anjadip.
This is the fifth warship they have given this year.
Anjadip is special because it was made in India with most of its parts coming from India.
It is used to find and fight submarines near the coast.
The ship is 77 meters long and can carry 57 people.
GRSE is also building more warships and other ships for different uses.
This shows that India is getting better at making its own ships and weapons.
GRSE delivered the ASW SWC Anjadip to the Indian Navy on December 22, 2025, marking its fifth warship delivery of the year.
Anjadip is the third in a series of eight ASW SWCs, with 88% indigenous content and equipped with a 30 mm Naval Surface Gun.
The ship is 77 meters long, propelled by waterjets, and can accommodate 57 personnel, including seven officers.
GRSE is currently building 12 more warships, including advanced stealth frigates, survey vessels, and offshore patrol vessels.
The delivery highlights India's growing capability in indigenous shipbuilding and defense manufacturing.
