Modi Naturals gets additional ₹140 crore ethanol order from OMCs
A company called Modi Naturals makes ethanol, which is a type of fuel made from plants.
The company got a big new order from oil marketing companies to supply more ethanol.
This new order is worth about ₹140 crore and covers nearly 2 crore litres of ethanol.
It is on top of an older order worth about ₹400 crore.
The company will keep making deliveries until October 2026.
To handle all this work, Modi Naturals is making its factories bigger.
Its ethanol-making capacity will grow from 130 KLPD to 282 KLPD.
The company expects all its plants to be fully working by the end of August 2026.
Recently, the company also reported higher profits compared with the same time last year.

Modi Naturals, through subsidiary Modi Biotech Private Limited, received an additional allocation of 1.98 crore litres of ethanol worth about ₹140 crore for ESY 2025-26.
The new order is in addition to an existing order of around ₹400 crore for approximately 47.9 KLPD from various oil marketing companies.
Supplies under the additional order are to be made until October 2026.
The company is expanding ethanol capacity from 130 KLPD to 282 KLPD, with existing and expanded plants expected to be fully operational by end of August 2026.
In Q1FY27, net profit rose 19.1% year-on-year to ₹12.5 crore, while revenue grew marginally 0.4% to ₹155.6 crore.
