Trump Administration: Statue of Liberty to Remain Open During Shutdown
The government shutdown is still happening, but the Statue of Liberty will stay open.
Governor Hochul of New York said the state won't pay to keep it open this time.
But, the Trump administration said the Statue of Liberty is open for Americans to enjoy.
The National Park Service is keeping most other parks open too.
In a past shutdown, it cost $1.5 million to keep the Statue open.
