Police Book Four in Alleged Newborn Sale Case

Police Book Four in Alleged Newborn Sale Case

Police in Hyderabad say a newborn baby was allegedly being sold.

They registered cases against four people, including a clinic manager and three women.

The baby was reportedly supposed to be handed over for ₹2 lakh.

Police said the clinic manager and two women helped arrange the deal.

The people involved allegedly used a notarised paper instead of the proper adoption process.

Police received information about the suspected sale and found the baby.

The baby was rescued and taken to Shishu Vihar.

Investigators are still examining why the sale happened and what each accused person did.
