Iran President Pezeshkian Invokes Hiroshima, Nagasaki Bombings to Slam US

A man named Masoud Pezeshkian is the president of a country called Iran.

He shared a strong message about something very sad that happened long ago in Japan.

In 1945, during a big war called World War II, the United States dropped two extremely powerful bombs called atomic bombs on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

The bombs destroyed large parts of the cities, and many people were hurt or died.

President Pezeshkian said a terrible thing like that should never happen again.

He wrote his message on a website called X, where people share short posts online.

He said the way of thinking that led to those bombs is still around today and can be dangerous to countries and to the things civilians need to live.

He ended with the words 'Never again,' which means this should never happen one more time.

Every year in August, people around the world remember the Hiroshima bombing on August 6 and the Nagasaki bombing on August 9.

These are days for remembering and hoping for peace, so nothing so sad ever happens again.
