CBSE Sets LOC Schedule, Fees, Corrections for 2027 Exams
CBSE has told schools how to register students for the 2027 board exams.
Schools can submit the candidate list online from September 24 to October 21, 2026.
They can submit it later until October 30 by paying an extra ₹2,000 for each student.
Every Class 10 student must be included for the first exam in February or March 2027.
The list for the second Class 10 exam will be submitted separately.
Schools must check names, dates of birth, subjects, photos, signatures, and eligibility carefully.
Students must be regular students who meet attendance and other CBSE rules.
Schools can correct some information from November 2 to 4.
After November 4, CBSE will not accept further corrections to personal details or subjects.
Schools can submit the Class 10 and 12 LOC from September 24 to October 21, 2026, through cbse.gov.in without a late fee.
Late submissions are allowed from October 22 to October 30 with a ₹2,000 fee per candidate, while no extension will be granted beyond the deadlines.
The first Class 10 examination in February–March 2027 is mandatory, and its LOC must include all Class 10 candidates; the second examination’s LOC will be submitted later.
Schools must verify candidate details, photographs, signatures, eligibility, attendance, and subject codes before finalising the LOC.
A correction window will run from November 2 to 4, 2026; subject or personal-detail changes will not be accepted after it closes.
