Tripura to Build Earthquake-Resistant Office Building
Tripura is building a special office building that can handle big earthquakes.
It will have all the government offices in one place.
The building will use a special base that helps it move during an earthquake so it doesn't fall down.
The state is also spending a lot of money on roads and bridges.
They want to make it easier to travel around and connect with other places.
They're also working on new highways and bridges to improve transportation in the state.
Tripura is constructing a multi-storey office building using earthquake-resistant technology.
The G-14 building will house all departmental offices in one place.
The building will use base isolation with triple friction pendulum technology and withstand earthquakes up to 8.5 magnitude.
Tripura allocated Rs 7,000 crore for infrastructure development in the current year.
The state plans to connect all district headquarters with national highways and convert bally bridges to concrete ones.
