AP to Use Drones for Medical Deliveries in Tribal Areas
The Andhra Pradesh government is starting a new project to use drones to deliver medicines, vaccines, and blood to hospitals in far-away tribal areas.
They have partnered with a company called Red Wing to operate these drones.
The main hub will be in a place called Paderu.
The drones can carry up to 2 kilograms and will keep the medicines safe.
They will also bring back samples from the hospitals to labs for testing.
This will help people in these areas get medical help faster, especially during emergencies.
The service will start for free for about six to seven months to test how well it works.
