Fadnavis Visits Hospitalized Anna Hazare, Shares Irrigation Approval
Anna Hazare is a senior social worker from Maharashtra.
He became unwell and was taken to Bombay Hospital in Mumbai.
Doctors said he was stable and responding well to treatment.
Tests showed that he had a kidney-related infection.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis visited him in the hospital.
Fadnavis wished him a quick recovery.
During the visit, Fadnavis also told Hazare about a government decision on an irrigation project.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis visited Anna Hazare at Bombay Hospital on Tuesday, September 1.
Fadnavis wished Hazare a speedy recovery and said, “Anna, may you live a hundred years.”
The chief minister told Hazare that Maharashtra’s Cabinet had approved the revised cost of the Kukdi Irrigation Project.
Hazare, 89, was moved to Bombay Hospital from Ralegan Siddhi after receiving treatment at a local hospital.
Doctors said Hazare was stable and responding well to treatment after tests indicated a kidney-related infection.
