Google’s Gemini Introduces AI Calls for Business Tasks

Google has given Gemini a feature called “Call for Me.”

It lets Gemini call a business instead of you.

The AI can use phone menus, talk with employees, and wait on hold.

You could ask it to check a store’s hours or find out whether an item is available.

You can also ask it to make or change an appointment.

Before the call starts, you can see what Gemini plans to do and approve it.

You can listen to the call, read a transcript, cancel it, or take over.

For now, the feature is only available in beta to certain adult paid subscribers in the United States.
