Mayawati said countries in BRICS should work more closely together.

She believes this could help during wars and economic problems.

She also welcomed discussions about creating a BRICS currency.

BRICS members supported a two-state solution for Palestine, including an independent Palestine based on the 1967 borders.

Mayawati said the group’s position on terrorism supported India after the Pahalgam terror attack.

She said India and China should make sure disagreements do not become disputes.

She also called for an early solution to their border issue.

Her comments came while leaders attended the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi.
