RKM School Opens Commerce Section in Class XI Due to Student Demand
A school called Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya in Narendrapur is now offering commerce classes for high school students.
This means kids can study things like business and economics.
They added this because lots of students wanted to learn about these subjects.
There are a limited number of spots available.
The classes began recently, and students had to take a test to get in.
The school principal said the subjects will include things like accounting and business math.
They will also be hiring teachers, and some experts will help out too.
Another related school had plans to create a similar program but it didn't work out yet.
RKM Vidyalaya in Narendrapur has launched a commerce section for Class XI.
The decision followed student demand for commerce as a job-oriented discipline.
Seventeen seats were initially available in the new commerce section.
Classes commenced on Thursday and students were admitted through an entrance test.
The school will follow the state higher secondary council's syllabus for the section.
