Kremlin Rejects Foreign Military for Ukrainian Security
The Kremlin doesn't think that foreign armies can keep Ukraine safe after the war.
They say that the security guarantees for Ukraine can't be provided by foreign military groups like those from Europe and America.
A Kremlin spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, said that all the security needed is in the deals made in Istanbul in 2022.
These deals included Ukraine not joining NATO and being neutral.
Russia also thinks that a lot of work is needed before high-level talks happen.
They are happy with how the current talks are going.
The Kremlin stated foreign military contingents cannot provide security guarantees for Ukraine.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov made the statements.
The statements were made on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.
Peskov said all necessary guarantees are in the 2022 Istanbul agreements.
