HDFC Bank Launches Senior and Women Savings Accounts
HDFC Bank, a big bank in India, started two new savings accounts on August 3, 2026.
One is for older people and the other is for women.
These accounts give extra safety, like protection against online fraud, and extra money if you keep savings in a fixed deposit.
They also let you use airport lounges and get health check-ups for women.
The bank wants to make banking easier and safer for these special groups.
HDFC Bank launched Max for Seniors and Max for Her savings accounts.
Accounts offer cyber insurance, FD-like returns, accidental death cover, and airport lounge access.
Max for Seniors includes 0.5% extra FD interest, ₹25,000 cyber cover, and ₹3.19 crore death cover.
Max for Her offers complimentary health check-ups, ₹10 lakh death cover, and 50% locker discount.
The launch is part of the bank’s Premium Speciale Savings suite to meet specific customer needs.
