BJP’s New Team Faces Test Beyond Identity and Symbolism
The BJP has created a new group of leaders to help run the party.
Nitin Nabin, the party president, has included both experienced politicians and newer faces.
More women have been added to important positions.
The party has also changed the people responsible for its social-media work.
These changes come after some election setbacks and criticism of the party’s online performance.

Young voters may care about jobs, education, technology, and good public services.
The article says the party should focus more on governing well instead of relying mainly on emotional or divisive campaigns.
BJP president Nitin Nabin has unveiled a reorganised team combining experienced leaders with new faces.
The team includes 13 vice-presidents, eight general secretaries, 16 secretaries, seven morcha chiefs, and new media teams.
Women now account for 18.5% of the team, while Vasundhara Raje and Smriti Irani receive prominent appointments.
Amit Malviya has been replaced by Deepak Mhaske in the BJP’s social-media department after criticism of its performance during the CJP agitation.
