Delhi court acquits two in 2016 murder case
A court in Delhi has decided that two men, Shamshad and Sunil, are not guilty of killing a young man named Sam in 2016.
The court said that the people who were trying to prove they did it did not have enough proof.
The victim was stabbed many times in a park area after a fight over a phone number.
The court looked at all the evidence and testimonies but found them unreliable and inconsistent.
So, the court let the two men go because they could not be sure they did the crime.
A Delhi court acquitted Shamshad and Sunil of murdering Sallaudin alias Sam in 2016.
The prosecution failed to prove the guilt of the accused beyond reasonable doubt.
The victim was stabbed multiple times in a forest area near a DDA park.
The case rested largely on circumstantial evidence and inconsistent testimonies.
The court noted that the evidence did not form a complete chain to prove the accused committed the crime.
