Unnao Survivor Meets Gandhis, CBI to Challenge Bail
A brave young woman who was hurt a long time ago met Rahul Gandhi and his mother, Sonia Gandhi, to ask for help.
She was very upset because the person who hurt her, named Kuldeep Singh Sengar, was allowed to go free for a little while.
Rahul and Sonia promised to help her and her family.
The young woman said she will go to a higher court to fight for justice because she is scared and does not feel safe.
The CBI, which is like a special police team, said they will also fight against this decision in the higher court.
The young woman said she wants the leaders of India to help her and make sure bad people like Sengar are not allowed to hurt others.
The Unnao rape survivor met Rahul and Sonia Gandhi, seeking legal aid and relocation assistance.
The CBI announced it will challenge the Delhi High Court's decision to grant bail to Kuldeep Singh Sengar in the Supreme Court.
The survivor expressed her distress and fear, stating she felt like committing suicide after the bail decision.
The survivor and her family requested a top lawyer to fight against Sengar in the Supreme Court and relocation to a Congress-ruled state.
Sengar remains in jail for a separate custodial death case, with an appeal pending in the Delhi High Court.
