Mumbai Court Allows ED Questioning of Six Jailed Accused

A Mumbai court has given investigators permission to speak with six people in jail.

The investigators are from the Enforcement Directorate, or ED.

They are examining a case about alleged money laundering.

The case is linked to Salim Ismail Dola and an alleged drug trafficking group.

The six people are being held at Arthur Road prison.

ED officers can visit the prison between August 29 and September 11.

The ED says the group obtained drugs for making mephedrone in India.

The court’s order allows investigators to record the six accused people’s statements.
