Nandyal Farmers Urged to Utilize MSP Cotton Procurement
The government is helping cotton farmers in Nandyal by buying their cotton at a good price.
Farmers should sell their cotton at a special place, a ginning mill, to get the 'Minimum Support Price' (MSP).
This price is set to be fair for the farmers.
If farmers want to sell their cotton at this special place, they need to register their crops and book a time slot using a phone app.
The government hopes this helps the farmers by making sure they are paid on time.
Joint Collector urged cotton farmers to sell produce at the ginning mill for MSP.
Cotton Corporation of India (CCI) set up procurement center in Nandyal.
MSP is offered to counter lower market rates.
Farmers must register and book slots via Kapas Kisan App.
The initiative aims for transparent and timely payments to farmers.
