Kusal Mendis to Replace Jos Buttler for Gujarat Titans in IPL Playoffs

Imagine a cricket team in India called Gujarat Titans (GT).

Their star player, Jos Buttler, has to leave to play for his country.

So, GT is bringing in Kusal Mendis to play in his place.

Mendis was playing in a different cricket league, but he decided not to go back there due to safety concerns.

Mendis will join GT for the playoffs, a series of important games, and is expected to play well.

GT is doing great in the tournament and is likely to play in the playoffs.

The playoffs start at the end of May, and Mendis will play in the team.
