Prithviraj Recalls Meghna Gulzar Winning Every Daayra Argument
Daayra is a new film directed by Meghna Gulzar.
Prithviraj Sukumaran and Kareena Kapoor Khan are two of its main actors.
Prithviraj said making the film was difficult because he and Meghna often argued about creative choices.
He said Meghna usually had strong answers and won those arguments.
He is still unsure whether he fully agrees with his character, Raman.
Kareena said Meghna was kind but very strict while directing.
The actors also praised Gulzar, who wrote the film’s new song.
Daayra is planned to come out on September 18.
Prithviraj Sukumaran said Daayra was difficult to make and involved more arguments with Meghna Gulzar than any previous film.
He said Meghna had answers to questions from him, Kareena Kapoor Khan and the crew, ultimately winning every argument.
Prithviraj remains conflicted about his character Raman and hopes the film encourages discussion after its ending.
Kareena said Meghna’s demanding approach made her feel like a newcomer despite her 26-year career.
Daayra’s song “Sach Ka Daayra,” written by Gulzar, was launched on Friday, with the film scheduled for release on September 18.
