Many people remember him as Robin Tripp in the comedy show Man About the House.

In the show, Robin shared a London flat with two women.

O'Sullivan played the character for six series.

He then played Robin again in a spin-off called Robin's Nest.

He also appeared in films and television shows from childhood.

He lived at Brinsworth House in Twickenham for 23 years.

His family said he was a warm and funny father and grandfather.

His death follows that of fellow Man About the House actor Brian Murphy in February 2025.
