DMK Accuses TVK of Acting as BJP’s Political Proxy

DMK Accuses TVK of Acting as BJP’s Political Proxy

The DMK and TVK are political opponents in Tamil Nadu.

Cases were filed against two DMK leaders over comments about Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay.

The DMK says these cases are meant to target its leaders.

DMK spokesperson T.K.S. Elangovan also accused the TVK of following the Bharatiya Janata Party’s instructions.

He said the government had not properly answered allegations about crimes in Tamil Nadu.

Udhayanidhi Stalin was previously arrested over alleged misogynist remarks but was released the same day.

TVK representatives said A. Raja’s comments were offensive and improper.

The dispute has shifted attention away from the DMK’s earlier criticism of the government.
