Dropped Sam Konstas Added to PM's XI Squad vs. England
A young Australian cricket player named Sam Konstas was recently not chosen for the main Australian team.
However, he has now been selected to play in a special game for the Prime Minister's XI team against the visiting England team.
This game is important because it helps Konstas stay in line for a potential spot on the main team if another player gets hurt.
It also helps the England team practice using the special pink ball they will use in a later game.
Other young players and a veteran player named Peter Siddle are also in the Prime Minister's XI team.
Dropped Australian opener Sam Konstas has been included in the Prime Minister's XI squad to face England.
The two-day tour match will be played in Canberra from November 29.
Konstas's inclusion keeps him in contention for the Ashes squad, especially in case of injuries.
The match serves as crucial pink ball preparation for England ahead of their day-night Test.
Veteran paceman Peter Siddle will also feature in the Prime Minister's XI squad.
