Anglican Priest Killed After Month in Captivity
A kind priest named Edwin Achi was taken from his home in Nigeria along with his wife and daughter.
Bad people asked for a lot of money to let them go, but even after the priest was killed, his family is still being held.
This happened in a place where many people are being kidnapped, and the government is trying to stop it.
The leader of the country said it's a big emergency and is adding more police to help.
Other countries are also worried and have told Nigeria to do more to protect people.
Anglican priest Edwin Achi was kidnapped with his wife and daughter from Kaduna state on October 28.
Achi was killed after a month in captivity, while his wife and daughter remain captive.
Initial ransom demand was 600 million naira, later reduced to 200 million naira.
The killing comes amid a surge in kidnappings in northern Nigeria, including recent abductions of schoolgirls and students.
