Kolkata Metro to Run 270+ Trains on Republic Day 2026

Kolkata Metro is planning to run more than 270 train services on January 26, 2026, which is Republic Day.

This is to help people travel easily because there will be traffic restrictions on the roads for the Republic Day ceremony.

The Blue Line will have 182 services, and the Yellow Line will have 92 services.

The Purple and Orange Lines will run as usual.

There will also be 4 special services from Noapara to Dakshineswar.

This plan is to make sure everyone can reach their destination without any problems.
