Homebound Misses Oscar Nomination

Homebound, a film directed by Neeraj Ghayawan, did not get nominated for the Oscars in the Best International Feature Film category.

Many people thought it had a good chance, especially after it was shown at big film festivals like Toronto and Cannes.

However, experts say the story felt too similar to other films, and it was expensive to campaign for the awards.

The film also didn't make much money in India, and there were some claims that it copied parts of a book.

All these things might have stopped it from getting an Oscar nomination.

The actors in the film, like Vishal Jethwa and Ishaan Khatter, said they were disappointed but proud of their work.

Ishaan Khatter shared a heartfelt note on Instagram, expressing his love and gratitude for the film and its journey.

Vishal Jethwa also shared a note, expressing his pride in being shortlisted for the Oscars and his gratitude to the team and producers.
