BCCI to Raise Asia Cup Trophy Dispute with PCB at ICC Meeting
India won a big cricket game called the Asia Cup, but they haven't received the trophy yet.
The trophy was supposed to be given by a leader from Pakistan, who is also in charge of cricket in Asia.
However, because of disagreements between India and Pakistan, India's cricket board, the BCCI, refused to accept the trophy from him.
The BCCI had asked for the trophy to be sent, and they gave a deadline of November 3rd.
Since they still don't have it, the BCCI plans to talk about this problem at a big international cricket meeting on November 4th.
They hope that the international cricket leaders will help them get their trophy.
The BCCI will raise the issue of the unreceived Asia Cup trophy at the ICC meeting on November 4.
India refused to accept the trophy and medals from ACC president Mohsin Naqvi due to his alleged anti-India remarks.
The BCCI has set a November 3 deadline for the trophy's handover, threatening to escalate the matter if not met.
Mohsin Naqvi reportedly took the trophy with him and suggested India collect it personally, a demand the BCCI allegedly refused.
This trophy dispute has escalated following previous incidents of Indian players refusing handshakes with Pakistani players after matches.
