Mumbai's Belasis Flyover to Open by December 2025
Mumbai is building a new bridge called the Belasis flyover to help people move around more easily.
The new bridge is a cable-stayed type and will connect Tardeo, Nagpada, and Mumbai Central.
The old bridge was taken down, and now they're building the new one.
Construction is going faster than planned.
The plan is to finish the bridge by the end of December 2025, which is sooner than the first guess.
The workers are currently working on the railway section of the bridge by doing things like bracing the girders.
This new bridge should make it easier to travel in the area.
The new Belasis flyover is a cable-stayed bridge connecting Tardeo, Nagpada, and Mumbai Central.
The bridge is expected to be completed by December 31, 2025, ahead of the initial schedule.
The BMC has cleared obstructions to ensure smooth construction.
The old Bellasis Bridge was dismantled in June 2024 after a structural audit.
Key structural work, including girder bracing and slab casting, is underway within railway limits.
