TCS, Infosys Lead Market Cap Gains
Last week, five of India's top 10 most valuable companies saw their total market value increase by Rs 72,284.74 crore.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Infosys had the biggest gains, with TCS adding Rs 35,909.52 crore and Infosys adding Rs 23,404.55 crore.
Other companies like Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, and Bajaj Finance also saw increases.
However, some companies like Reliance Industries, LIC, SBI, HDFC Bank, and Larsen & Toubro saw their market values decrease.
Despite the losses, Reliance Industries remained the most valuable company in India.
Foreign investors have been pulling out money from Indian stocks due to the rupee getting weaker, but domestic investors have been buying a lot, which has helped balance things out.
The Reserve Bank of India also cut interest rates, which made investors feel a bit better.
