NCW Mandates Complaint Committees to Protect Women's Rights
The National Commission for Women (NCW) is working hard to protect women and girls.
A member of the NCW, Dr. Archana Majumdar, visited Vijayawada and spoke about the importance of protecting women.
She said that anyone who hurts women will face consequences.
Also, every workplace or school with more than ten employees must create a special group called an Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) to handle complaints.
If a woman needs help, she can always contact the Women’s Commission, which is available all day, every day.
NCW member Dr. Archana Majumdar emphasized the commission's commitment to women's rights.
She warned that strict action will be taken against those who attack girls and women.
Every organization with over 10 employees must establish an Internal Complaint Committee (ICC).
Dr. Majumdar instructed Siddhartha Medical College to set up an ICC within a week.
Victims can file complaints with the Women’s Commission at any time.
