Nitin Nabin Urges Rajasthan BJP Leaders to Reject Arrogance
BJP president Nitin Nabin met Rajasthan party leaders in Jaipur.
He told them to stay humble even though their party is in power.
He warned that acting arrogant can make people unhappy with the party.
He also said leaders must take responsibility for candidates they recommend.
This is especially important when elected members later stop supporting the party.
The BJP is preparing for elections in Rajasthan's villages.
These elections cover 14,403 gram panchayats and many more voters than the recent city elections.
Nabin said leaders should work hard, stay connected to ordinary people, and avoid celebrating their earlier success too soon.
Bharatiya Janata Party president Nitin Nabin urged Rajasthan leaders to remain humble and avoid the arrogance associated with power.
At a private Jaipur breakfast meeting, he warned that leaders may fail to notice anti-incumbency until it becomes a serious problem.
Nabin said MLAs and MPs recommending candidates must accept responsibility if those candidates later act against the party.
The warning followed the Mundwa municipality contest, where the BJP's chairperson candidate reportedly received no votes despite the party having 10 councillors.
With 14,403 gram panchayats and 72.16 percent of Rajasthan's voters involved, the upcoming panchayat elections were presented as a major test for the BJP.
