Police in Bengaluru say they found a large group involved in an online investment scam.

One resident allegedly lost almost Rs 94 lakh.

The police arrested three people in connection with the case.

They say the group used more than 500 bank accounts belonging to other people.

These accounts were allegedly used to move stolen money.

Fake apps reportedly helped the suspects read bank messages and one-time passwords.

The money was then moved through several accounts and into a cryptocurrency wallet.

Police also found digital connections to places in India and abroad.

More suspects are still being identified and searched for.
