West Bengal SSC exams for non-teaching staff in March
The West Bengal School Service Commission is going to have exams for people who want to work as non-teaching staff in schools.
There are two types of jobs: Group C and Group D. The exams for Group C will be on March 1, and for Group D on March 8.
There are a lot of people who want these jobs—about 8.13 lakh for Group C and 8.20 lakh for Group D. The government has said it's okay to have these exams, so the notices are being put up for everyone to see.
There are 2,989 jobs for Group C and 5,488 for Group D. However, someone has gone to court saying that the rules for people with disabilities were not followed, and 100 jobs for them could not be filled.
