Hyderabad Metro Launches Smart Lockers
Hyderabad Metro has added smart lockers at seven of its stations.
These lockers let people store things like helmets, bags, and shopping items safely while they travel.
You can use them in just 30 seconds by scanning a code, picking a locker size, and paying online.
This makes traveling easier because you don't have to carry heavy items.
The lockers are available at stations like Miyapur, Ameerpet, and Hi-Tech City.
The goal is to make the metro stations smarter and more helpful for people using them.
L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited (L&TMRHL) and TUCKIT launched smart storage lockers at seven Hyderabad Metro stations.
The lockers allow commuters to securely store items like helmets, luggage, and shopping bags for hands-free travel.
The service is designed to provide a hands-free travel experience, with access in under 30 seconds by scanning a QR code, selecting a locker size, and paying digitally.
The lockers are operational at Miyapur, Ameerpet, Punjagutta, LB Nagar, Uppal, Parade Ground, and Hi-Tech City stations.
The launch event was held at Uppal Metro Station, highlighting the initiative's focus on enhancing commuter convenience and expanding utility-based services.
