Iron Ore Prices Fall Before China's Golden Week
Imagine iron ore is like the ingredients for making steel.
The price of these ingredients has gone down a bit recently.
This is because China, a big customer, is about to have a long holiday, so people think they won't need as much steel-making stuff.
Prices had been up because companies were buying more stuff before the holiday.
However, experts think the prices might drop again because the price was too high and there might be more iron ore coming in.
So, people are being careful and that's why the price went down a bit.
Iron ore prices fell to $103 a ton in Singapore.
The decline follows a 2.8% drop last week.
China's Golden Week holiday starts Wednesday.
Prices had been supported by restocking ahead of the holiday.
Analysts suggest current high prices might not last.
