Honda Prelude Returns as a Grand Tourer for 2026
Honda is bringing back the Prelude car, but it's not the sporty car people might remember.
Instead, it's a comfortable car for long trips, called a grand tourer.
It has a hybrid engine, combining a gas engine with an electric motor.
It borrows some parts from the sporty Civic Type R for better handling, but keeps a comfy ride.
Inside, it looks like a Civic but has fancier features like a special steering wheel and a screen for your phone.
It also has space for four people and plenty of cargo.
The new Prelude will be available in late 2025.
Honda is reviving the Prelude as a grand tourer for the 2026 model year.
It features a hybrid powertrain with a 2.0-litre engine and an electric motor.
The car borrows chassis components from the Civic Type R.
The interior design mirrors the Civic but adds premium touches.
The 2026 Honda Prelude will arrive in North American dealerships in late fall 2025.
